Quick help with grease cleanup

I've done some searches and I'm having trouble getting what I need.

What's your best advice to get all of the old bearing grease out of a wire wheel hub? There's a ton of it in there and I know I have to get it all out, but I'm having trouble getting in there.

If its off the car take it too a high pressure car wash and blast it. If its on the car and you have wiped off all you can then I'm not sure. If its on the brake shoes, I soak them in a pan of laquer thinner for a while, that stuff eats up oil.

Thanks for the quick reply. I think I'll take them both off and blast them with a pressure washer. I suppose if I'm this far I should do it right! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Heh, must have used 20 cans of carb cleaner.

Now there's another tip I had not thought of.
