Quick help with grease cleanup

I've done some searches and I'm having trouble getting what I need.

What's your best advice to get all of the old bearing grease out of a wire wheel hub? There's a ton of it in there and I know I have to get it all out, but I'm having trouble getting in there.

If its off the car take it too a high pressure car wash and blast it. If its on the car and you have wiped off all you can then I'm not sure. If its on the brake shoes, I soak them in a pan of laquer thinner for a while, that stuff eats up oil.

Even after pressure washing, I would give all a good wipe down with laquer thinner or carb cleaner or something like that to remove any oil that might not have come off with the pressure.

Heh, must have used 20 cans of carb cleaner.

Works good to clean out paint can nozzles that have stopped up too /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
