Quick question - do you think I can mount this at an 45 angle w/out any issues? Anyone have pictures of how you mounted a similar pump on an MGB/C?

Thanks!

I just had one in a Midget, it was horizontal. Doesn't seem to make any difference which way you mount it, it just works.

Yep, the pump doesn't care what angle it is at. Supply power and ground and it will run. The closer you have it to the tank does help but I have seen folks but them in the engine bay in front of the carbs. In fact I have seen one MG with two pumps. The guy had the second one in line just in case the first one quit.
