TR6 Questions about manufacture dates . . .

Hello,
I have recently purchased a 1976 TR6 with a commission number of CF58198U, built in July of '76. The last car ever produced, was also in July, and numbered CF58328. I was wondering if anyone knows how many cars were produced weekly in the factory, to determine how close to the last day my car was made. Any insight would be appreciated.

Getting a heritage dealey won't answer his question. He wants to know how far from the end time wise he was
Unless he got both of them
will it Mr Hahn, I've never seen one but I don't think it has that kind of info

Since the Heritage Certificate would show the build date of his car and we know that the last TR6 was built on 15 July 1976 then he should be able to determine 'how far from the end time wise he was'.

Since the number of the last one is CF58328 then one might infer that BL built 8,328 cars in the first 6½ months of 1976. That's about 300 cars per week so a back-of-the-envelope calculation would suggest his was built on or around 13 July 1976.

DOH!
Well his build date should be on his plate in the engine compartment too

Going back in my hole
