Questions about "beauty rings"

I'm planning to restore my wheels and I don't want to put back my cheap stainless steel beauty rings as they are secured by sharp exposed tangs that will scratch the finish. Does anybody make quality beauty rings? Even better, do anyone make aluminum rings like the originals ones?

Thanks

Gene

I think I read a few months ago that TRF was looking for a company that could reproduce the aluminum rings. Don't know what the status of that is.

I have never seen any beauty rings without sharp gouging fingers that will hold the trim ring on the rim. If there are no other attaching methods and you want the trim rings to really shine, you can have them proffessionaly polished.
