Does anyone have a picture of a "B" standard clock face with rim. I understand that all Bs with rubber bumpers came with them?

Jack

I believe that this is what you are looking for

Yep - good photo, unusual location....

Indeed, that even looks like it has the same bezel as the Bugeye?

Please Jack, I hope this is not going where I think this is going.

Pat

Well, it was an optional item for a Bugeye.

Jack, it's your Bugeye, make her be want it to be. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

I thought the Bugeyes had chrome bezel gauges?

They do, like what I see in the pic I think and shaped the same way I think.

Maybe someone knows for sure or has a pic of one out of a car or something. Anyway I will sure look next time I see a rubber bumper one.

Tis something to think about.

They do, Doc.

Thought you were going to give up on the fuel gauge and go for the hours of use measurement.

Just kidding /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif, you are a brave brave man.

I just wonder if the texts/font/etc would look a wee bit outa kilt specially with it so far away from the rest of the gang.

psss to Jack's wifey ;)(whisper) a luggage rack was one as well /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

all i know is time stands still whilst driving a sprite. therefore, the clock is useless! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
.
IMHO if it's done "right" then its worth it!

The B clock has a black bezel. Tho I'd think that could be changed with a bit of judicious knobblin'. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

...but it'd need to be polarity correct, too.
You gone negative earth on us?

Lemme know if you want me to bring one with me next week, Jack.....the black paint is easily removed.

They chrome under the paint?!?! OOohhh!!! I ~WANT~ one!!! And a voltage one, and...and.... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Doc - they're not shiny chrome...more like polished aluminum

Would surely like to see one up close and personal Tony.

Thanks
