Yep I have accuired a spin on for my 998 engine. Thank you Hap.

Now I can't seem to find the model of the oil filter required. Is is somewhere here on the fourm, I do remember you guys wern't too taken on Fram.

Motorcraft FL300DP
Fram PH16 or PH966B
AC PF13 or PF20 or PF54
Purolator PER81 or L10028 or PER28
There are more but don't have the list available right now.

Got one thanks all. Fram PH3614 seems to work for me.

Started in the Fram area and tried three before I got a correct fit. I am sure that my spin on unit is different from some others and all prob take different filters, shrug.

Jack - which spin-on filter setup did you buy? The VicBrit one or the Moss one? I seem to remember that there was a bit of a difference in the way they were designed...and in price.

Here's an Oil Filter Comparison that you may find useful in deciding what filter to use, though its not specific to LBCs....

And it is lovely and fit to prefection.

Thank you again Hap, even the wife can see the advantages when they set side by side.

I use the wix/napa gold 1348.
