Question regards headlight ring 'thickness' for bugeye

I've got one chromed headlight ring that is 1 5/16 'deep' and fits the buckets etc. that I've got, plus two other rings that shallower, at slightly less than 1" deep and don't fit the headlight buckets in the bonnet.

Can anyone advise as to which is the proper ring? If it's the 1 5/16, then I buy one more; if it's the 1", then I purchase two inner ring assemblies.

Thanks, Doug

The correct one, if original, will have a screw hole in the bottom, just off center. It will match the hole in the bonnet under and forward of the headlight bucket. They also have a brass rivet, top dead center.

I've got three different 'thicknesses' of headlight chromed rims; AH Spares advised that there's are 1 inch thick, and those are the ones we've installed. Which are just as Gerard described. Now where in heck the other ones came from is a bit of a mystery. Thanks Gerard! Later, Doug

Glad you have the right ones.

Did you ever get my email about the shifter?
