haven't had time to either drive or work on Ms Triss for a couple of weeks now, partly because it's been cold but mostly because we're fixing to move. My wife was offered a position in Toronto (2 hrs away) and has accepted. so, paint and clean, clean and paint, the house is finally on the market - hurray!

Anyway, finally got the car up on jacks and she seems to be leaking all around the oil pan. I thought I had sealed it well but, maybe not. Anyway, before I start pulling things, I checked the oil and it appears that it is overfilled. - the oil goes to about 1/2 an inch above the top fill line. DCO :wall: Anyway, I'll drain it down some but, could that be causing these symptoms? any thoughts?

Bump - this one too

jp,
what kind of breather set up do you have? one half inch does seem to be quite a bit overfull, i am sure it wouldn't help.

I've got the line coming from the valve cover to the air cleaner - seems to work
