Question on Vicky Brit vs Moss carpet kits

Anyone know if the Vicky Brit and Moss carpet kits include material for the trunk area? Is the Moss one worth the extra $80 buckets compared to the VB kit?

VB also lists a trunk liner - anyone have experience with that?

Totally open for other ideas!

I don't believe any company includes trunk kit as it was not originally carpeted. I went with Stock Interiors for my carpet - very happy at a happy price. I found a piece of black vinyl) $1.99 and made a liner for the trunk.

I bought material by the yard from Stock Interiors. I got samples from five other suppliers including Moss and VB. The quality, price and color choice was best at Stock Interiors.
 
Thanks guys - should have mentioned that this is for a '60 Bugeye, doesn't look like Stoclk carries them. Is the Bugeye vs a '61 Sprite that different?

The Stock Interiors set for other Sprites will work in a Bugeye. No differences in the floors.
 
I just put in the Moss carpet kit in my 1960 Bugeye. Works fine with a bit of trimming. Doesn't include anything for the trunk space. Jim
 
No trunk stuff, you on your own there. Think a local carpet place or ....

Cuts down on the noise for sure.
 
Or if you go the Stock Interiors route, buy an extra yard or so from them.
 
Query mainly for you guys with Stock Interiors experience. Is there fit good and does it match stock faithfully??
I bought a cheap internet carpet set for my MK2 midget and when I got it I did'nt like it so purchased a Moss kit.
The cheap kit is better than the Moss in many areas while the Moss has better fit only on the tunnel. I sure would like a carpet the fit as good as original!!

I bought the Moss carpet and vinyl kit plus extra vinyl and carpet should I desire to finish the cave. It was a good match on both. Now all I need is a small person to climb back in there, measure and install. Any volunteers?

I bought my interior carpet kit from Moss. And it did come with trunk carpet. Including a carpeted cover for the spare. It was part number 242-560. I do not know if it has changed. I boought the 67 Sprite kit.
