As can be seen by the attached picture, the rod and bottom washer on my TR3A hood lift assembly are very worn. Is the rod supposed to have any grove in it, or is it supposed to be just a straight round rod? And is the bottom washer supposed to have just a plain round hole through it?
I may have to do some welding and grinding to fill the wear spots. Thanks for the help!
