Since I haven't sat in a Brit car in many years, I thought I would ask.
I am 6' 1" tall, and 215 lbs. Any issues with room in an MG or Triumph? Late 60s to mid 70s models.
To put it into perspective I’m 5’10” @ 160-165lbs & think the MGB has lots more leg & elbow room than most modern cars. In fact the last generation Mustang seems downright claustrophobic to the MGB.
Only thing that kind of bugs me is when I try to crawl into the B with the top up. I also think the vision is a bit restrictive with the top up too, because I have to lean forward & look up through the windshield to see traffic lights sometimes. But of course that’s not all that big of a deal because I rarely have the top up. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
I don't know how you fit int he MGA's driver seat at 6'3". In the passenger seat I can't touch the end of the foot well. In the driver's seat, I have the seat adjusted all the way back and my legs are still bend. I'm 5'9" and of average proportions.
I am 6'3" and close to 300 lbs...no problem with a B or TR6, and it has been a while, but the Alpine, TD, and XKE all have room enough ;-)) Forget the little ones though! LOL
