Tell him the only legal paperwork your willing to sign is the bill of sale that states "AS IS". As you stated earlier, it is a 35 year old car. No warranty stated or implied.

On second thought your are probaby better off refusing any contact and maybe notifying your states attorneys office. It sounds as if he might have all the numbers he needs to forge a title etc...

I've had this same kinda guy try to buy my car. It never ends, if you were to meet his demands, he'll just come up with new ones. He said he found a different car (model and brand) that was cheaper than what I was asking. WTF?! I finally told him I wouldn't sell him the car for any price and not to call me anymore.

Really got weird...or weirder. Guy triedto contact me all day yesterday..but I was a bit busy as we had a terrible ice..than snowstorm. Tundersnow as the weatherguy said. Lightning, thunder...ice. I'm one of the few folks around so I was in demand. I didn't have a chance to even look at his MANY requests to answer him..and when I did each one got more and more nasty. Came down to him saying I was disrespecting him..that before he started this deal he had checked me out and found me to basically be a fraud??? Crap along those lines..I told him he was acting like a teenage girl...that really made him irate...I wished him luck..he was a whole lot less flattering. Pyscho may not be out of line. Since this has happened..I'm in the process of pulling all my ads and stepping back for a while. Local face to face deals with people I know..or possibly using the protection of evilbay...ugh. Anyhow folks, thx for all your support..and its nice to know I'm not as evil as this guys says I am. And apparently since he is a bigwig web designer and computer geek..he will more than likely spread the word on how bad I am..hardly slept 10 hours last nite
