The wife has an iPad Pro loaded with photos and wants to put them on a stick to clean out her iPad but she can't figure out how to move them. I don't have a touch screen so I have no clue how to use the iPad. Does anyone have a clue on how to do this? Plain and simple English, please, thanks. PJ :unsure:
 
I have a unit called a LUV which plugs into the iPad or iPhone and with their app you can store the photos into the unit. It also has a USB connector. If she has a Mac, she can Air Drop the photos to the computer and then delete them from the iPad. This how I normally handle taking from my mobile devices.
 
Your wife’s photos “should be” on the iCloud if she had her settings configured correctly. From the iCloud she can always download them again.

What Elliot said - as long as she has an iCloud account and has "photos" set in her iCloud settings, the photos are available on the cloud for download. If she doesn't have an Apple computer she can log into her iCloud account and access the photos (and download to a hard drive and delete as needed).
 
She has an iCloud account, but it's almost full. ?? I told her to get another account or ad to hers. She said she tried to get more storage in the account but something isn't working right. I have Windows 10 on one computer and W 11 on another and don't have an iCloud account in either, so I'm a dummy in that situation.
 
To add extra storage is about 99 cents/month. She should be able to do it right from the settings on her iPad.

You can access an iCloud account from a PC via your browser. Just go to www.icloud.com and log in.
 
Not sure about iPad, but I can plug my iPhone into my PC (using the charger cord), and open the iPhone photos in Windows Explorer. (Phone needs to be unlocked when first plugging in.)
