Question on Grill Mounting

I am mounting the grill on my BT7 and wonder if the upper mounting tabs of the grill should go on the front side of the shroud (like the photo below) or on the back side. I've tried the back side but am having interference with the horns. The lower tabs have to go on the back side it appears.

Thanks for the help on mounting the grill. I mentioned I was having interference issues with the horns when I tried to mount the grill on the inside of the shroud. Here's what I had to do. The first photo shows the horns mounted in front of the bracket which moved them too close to the grill. I simply unbolted them and hung them behind the bracket (photo 2) and there is plenty of clearance for the grill. Not sure which way they came from the factory, but this worked for me.

Mine are the way yours used to be, but as long as it doesn't interfere with the production of sound waves, you do what you have to do.
