TR4/4A Question on chrome trim rings on TR4a dashboard

Are MG and TR4a chrome trim rings on the dashboard interchangeable?

Do you mean the chrome bezels on the gauges? I would think they would be for the same size and type of gauges (flat versus convex). Nisonger has listings for them which seem to just reference the diameter and whether flat or convex.

Or do you mean the chrome rings that fasten the switches?

For the gauges, I think they'd work, but they are probably not the same profile so you likely need to change out all or none to get everything consistent.

You mean the bezels, right? They may be, but to be sure give Nisonger a call and ask for Dave. He would know for sure. They sell the bezels, glass and gauge gaskets.

Definitely different, more obvious than it appears on the Holden site.

However, at least the MGA used "full V" trim rings that appear identical to the TR3 rings. I think there is a very good chance they would fit TR4A gauges (though I've not tried it nor do I recall what MGB gauges look like).

Note that the ammeter doesn't have a "trim ring", the chrome ring is actually part of the case.
