My son wants to know what bacon is called in Canada?

I'm pretty sure it's called bacon there too. From what I understand, it is us who don't understand what bacon is in Canada. That's why I always kid JP about it.

Son? When'd you get him? I thought you just had one daughter.

Bacon for the belly and if it is the loin which is rolled in cornmeal it is called pea meal bacon because many years ago it used to be rolled in dried peas and the name has still stuck

Rich- Since you live in the bacon capital of the world,
Is it really bacon?

Billy- Yep, 2 kids .He starts at the U of Il. on the 26th and we drop him off this Tuesday

And just to be clear, we don't have "Canadian Bacon" - we call that ham.
