I need a Bugeye size drip pan. Where O where do I fine one.

Large cookie sheet for baking.

Restaurant supply house...they have XL sized ones!!

Advance Auto has them in different sizes.

Bought one! THanks Jeff. Still don't have the car back from the painter to pull the motor and replace the front tranny seal. Funny how I am still anticipating a small leak. Dad has told me many times that that is just the way it is. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Aye it is a front scroll seal in the tranny.

Thanks guys will check NAPA.

Yessir, you should be able to fill it without anything running out the front.
There are modified covers available that take an oil seal for the input shaft.
I bought one for my '65, and have the seals here to do a couple more on my own, if I ever get to do it.

Reallyyy? If I am going to pull it back out I would be interested in sealing it up right. What would one have to do get their hands on a modified cover with a seal?

Also,
Jack, did you ever look any further in the "rear seal" from mini mania? A buddy was asking about that and I told him that I believe the crank would have to come back out to use the part... Am I correct? How far would the motor have to come back down to install the seal?

This looks like a pretty simple replacement. Am I seeing this correctly. Mounting nuts removed and with a new gasket, this slides over the existing guts?

That's all it is, Barry. The nose of the cover is machined to accept a conventional oil seal. (I think an 8620, but I'm not certain.) It's just a straightforward cover swap.
Jeff

I think the Minimana rear seal kit goes on without opening up the engine.
