I know these are available but where?
 
What are data plates?
 
It is the plate that the vin number is stamped on.

Part Number CRCP312 PLATE, 'Austin', chassis plate Sprite I,II,III, Midget I,II £7.79

I got one from them last week.
 
Clarke's Spares can provide one when he punches your numbers on it...I got mine from Moss & sent him my old plate as proof I owned the car & he did the one I shipped him.

You need to be able to prove you own the car before he'll cut a plate....a copy of your registration/title is all he'll need.
 
I guess my old eyes are about gone Tony. Do you have a Moss part number? I will have Roy call Clark monday. Yep we have a bill of sale but no real data plate.
 
Yep - but its too cold to go out in the garag right now...
