Question about SU HD8 carb gasket kits

I bought a set of gasket kits from Moss and I have already noticed that the float chamber gaskets need to be stretched over the rim to fit. Is this normal or is there a better quality kit out there for these carburetors?

Nevermind,

I friend has recommended Joe Curto, but he suggested soaking the gaskets to make them work instead of sending them back.

Not a huge diffence but I'll try again when I'm done polishing the carburetors.

Btw, You should step up to a monitor that views at 1280x768. Best thing since sliced bread. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

This VERY nice 21" flat is capable of even better. It's just EASIER of these (and LOTS of others) to look at said 21" at 800 and be able to NOT strain eyes!! Mine are 6 decades old.

Whats that prob with shrinking the pic?? Don't know HOW??
