T-Series Question about regrinding a TD crank

Forging has been around a long time too. The village blacksmith making anything from horseshoes to blades for scythes, ploughs, etc., as well as common door hinges and the like, has been heating, cooling, hammering and tempering for hundreds of years. Not many around now, but when I was a boy there was still a working blacksmith in our village, and he could make a replacement leaf for a typical half-elliptic road spring, and a lot more besides.
