Quarter light position to high

I'm just trying to set up my hood frame to weld the mounting brackets on and so have put the quarter lights in to get the heights right etc.

My question is should the top of the quarter lights be level with the top of the windscreen, mine sit about 10mm higher on the drivers side and about 7mm on the passengers side.

My guess is they should be level and the only way to get them right is tilt the windscreen back on the 4 bolts either side, would this be right ?

Also the drivers side quarter light sits 7mm back from the original holes it was screwed to the door with but the passenger side marries up with the old holes.

I believe the height should be close to the same.

Once the side windows are adjusted for fit, that window frame gets screwed in place.

The windscreen frame gets adjusted to fit the angle of the leading edge and height of the side window vent frame.

As mentioned they should be about the same height. Yes, the windscreen can be adjusted, but be careful and not break it! Loosen both sides of the windscreen before attempting to shift it forward or backward. you can add washers as needed to move it left or right.

The quarter lights too offer a little 'wiggle' room by adding washers.
