After having work redone on my TR6 from a bad mechanic, it is always a no-brainer for me what to do. Quality is always less expensive. If you can't find somebody who knows what they are doing locally, then I believe it is a better value to send it where it will be done properly. I only wish to have shipped my TR6 when the engine had died as it cost me a lot more in the end - towing and rebuild!
