Someone in the past tried to *weld* front fender flares to
my Bugeye bonnet. In the process, they hacked up the front
edge of the sills. MOSS offers 'caps'(452-150,155), which I
have. My question is, are these caps supposed to go behind
the outer sill, or are they attached to the end of the sill?
From the pic in the MOSS catalog, it appears that they
attach to the end, but on my car, there are two layers
of sheet steel which leads me to think the cap goes
behind the sill.
I know there are folks here that have replaced their sills,
and I'm sure they have delt with this.
