I managed to run the fastest time in Saturday afternoon's qualifier and so had the pole for Sunday's feature race. I led it from start to finish and won! Here is a youtube of the second half of the race and part one should also be available on my channel:

Since there is no one in front of me and you can only see glimpses of Manley Ford's TD dancing in and out of my mirrors once in a while it really is not very exciting to watch. However this is:

It was shot by Nate Scigliano from his Elva Courier that was somewhere behind me and shows an Alfa flipping at the fountain, which resulted in our session being red flagged after five laps. Since we had run more than 50% it was declared a race and me the winner!

Congrats on the win, but Oh man, I was sorry to see that ALFA roll. I'm assuming he was OK.

I hope stuff like that doesn't kill the street race. I'm really hoping to run it next year.

Nice Win Michael!

The roll-over video was removed. As always, fantastic video Michael!

Pete--

I emailed the fellow who originally put it up to see if he will repost it.

Super Video, Michael!!! Thanks! I used to roam those roads through Schenley Park in my Pitt days, sure was nice seeing the Cathedral of Learning looming behind the Conservatory again!! The car sounds GREAT!!!!  :thankyousign:

Again - Nice win Michael, especially when avoiding something like this.

Dougie--

That is a nice shot--where did you get it? It must have been taken during the qualifier--below is a link to a short clip from that session but it does not include when I ultimately caught up to and passed the MGA at turn 13 which is what is shown in that pic.

After passing him I had one clean lap and luckily got the fast time and so the pole for the race on Sunday.

The MGA was very fast on the straight--he had a fresh Kent Prather engine and was shifting at about 7500. A few times I got up to his fender on the straight leading into the haybale chicane but he would always pull away.
