TR5/TR250 putting new top on TR250

My dad had taken the old top off this car right before he passed away and I got the new one in. I didn't take it off therefore I have no clue how to properly fold it down after getting it back on. If you have any suggestive help I would greatly appreciate it.

Here is how to fold down out of 4A owners manual. Folding down is a little easier than putting it on in the first place.

THANKS!!! \

I was more concered about destroying the back window than getting it on the frame. How difficult is it to get the new tops on? And does it require two people?

thanks

does any one know where (like hardware store) I can get replacement screw-in snaps?

I am missing 5 of them on the back of the car where the top snaps down.

You know I got a snap kit that included the same dimension snaps as used on the my TR4A at the local hardware store (Ace), but that was 20 ears ago, still might be worth a try, if not you can get them from Moss Motors or Victoria British, good luck with the 250, I am restoring one, there seem to be a lot of 250 guys here or popping up new here lately.

I was told to try some marine stores around here.

I didn't get top put on this weekend though got caught up working on my friends BMW Sat. and stuck at the drag races in Orlando Sun. So nothing got accomplished this weekend.

There's always next I guess!!!!
