I've only driven the car 3 times since putting the HG 5 speed in. Aside from work around the place, Mrs has been going through doctor's visits, hospital operations, and one more to go, (she's doing well), and taking care of her is number one on the list! I never realized just how many chores she normally has during the day! Plus on top of it all, one of the air handlers drains for the AC system in the house evaporative system plugged, the drain overflowed and caused ceiling damage in one room, so too many things happening to bother with the car. As the old saying goes, when it rains it pours!

BTDT with half the team out of commission. Both Herself and I have had times where one was incapacitated and the other had to 'carry on regardless'. Each becoming both caregiver and dealing with whatever comes along at the same time. No fun.

Wishing you both a speedy resolution to the issues!
 
I can relate Paul. Not too many miles put on my Triumph this season as I’ve been doing some kitchen upgrades. Installed a new double oven a few weeks ago but first had to extend a 240v line. Next up is new flooring in the laundry room and kitchen. Laundry room got done this week. Will start kitchen in a week or so.

I know what you mean! When my wife took a trip to her homeland (Germany) with her sister for two weeks, I was left to do all the housework. It was a lot of work doing all those dishes - on the last day before she came home! :geek:
