Punxutawney Phil says

Wiarton Willie says Early spring!

Basil said:
Six more weeks of winter!

Well, if they're anything like the last six weeks, it's still spring!

Amen to that. Yesterday the chief climatologist in Canada actually apologized for predicting a harsh winter back in the fall. He said we are looking at the next three months being milder than average.

All the Wooly-bear Caterpillars had really wide orange bands this fall, and one I found hiding in the shop a week or so ago was almost entirely orange.
I think Phil only saw his shadow from all the flash bulbs going off. It's been gray here all day.

Gizmo says early spring here in Utah.

Here on Long Island, Malverne Mel agreed with Puxatawny Phil, but Holbrook Hal disagreed.

Winter? Didn't look like Winter yesterday while I was driving home from work.

Honestly can't even be bothered to. Got out of church today and temp was low 40's saw my third motorcycle of the year, saw two summer cars this weekend - fox body 'stang and a Smokey & the Bandit era Firebird. Feels like spring will be here very soon.

Same here... Well above normal most of the winter months so far... Yesterday a daytime high of 13C, a little cooler today but not by much

I've spotted a bunch of old cars on the road this weekend, including a nice looking 1960's Lincoln Continental custom, alas never got a close look at it or even a photo... Darn!
