Pummled by a blizzard.

And no, moving down south is NOT AN OPTION. I hate the heat worse then the snow. I really like the change of seasons, so when I retire, I'll stay right here. Besides, once I retire, moving the snow will have less urgency and I can always wait until the spring if I like.

I totally agree. I lived in the south for 10 years (tx, ga, nc) and I could not stand the heat and humidity, not to mention brown grass.

Snow blowers are fun - get one. Bought one for $50 in 1989 , rebuilt the engine which lasted until last year and then replaced it with a brand new B&S. Wow - the power is awesome.

One of my favorite pass times is to get up early before the working stiffs, fire up the blower and clean the driveway. Takes me about 30 minutes. Just as I'm finishing, they're struggling with their shovels or tying to get up their driveways without clearing the snow. I just look, wave and smile. But, I always offer to clear their driveways. :yesnod:

Oh, I almost forgot. Snow and freezing weather is a good thing. it kills the palmetto bugs (roaches)!

Relieved. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

One time, years ago, I was a Boy Scout leader and we took our group Winter camping in the cabins at our local Scout camp.
There was a fresh-fallen snow on the ground.

As we were settling in for the night, the Camp Ranger knocked on our door and asked, "Who's Bob?"

Guess why? :jester:

Snow art? :jester:

Took me about an hour of mountain road carving before running into that evil white stuff again. Top down heat off and in short sleeves to boot.
