Dale, I heard that the ground shook in the Eastern Caribbean yesterday, but I just figured it was you and Amos getting the lead out. What's the real story?

The real scoop. The Puerto Rico trench fault line.

We get on average 50 to 60 earth quakes a month.
Most are about RS=3 or less.

Yesterdays was a biggy at RS=7+ but very deep and far
off shore. The shock wave moved in the direction of South
America so we felt no earth movement here. Our seismos
picked it up of course.

A funny- we had one maybe 2 years ago while I drinking
my coffee and reading the morning paper sitting at the
kitchen island on a bar stool. Suddenly, everything started
to sway and I immediately thought I was having a stroke and
gonna die!

we're OK- thanks for asking.
