The result is spectacular but it looks like everyone was OK (you can see the driver of the truck making a hasty escape)

I have to admit, I always give these things a wide berth on the road. I can't believe some of those guys stood so close.

(the video "freezes" in the middle for a few seconds but then it goes on OK)

I recall several years ago driving north on I-5 just north of Longview..big Propane truck, single axle....huge tank...and as he was driving, he was venting straight up off the back.
Got up beside him, tried to alert him, he ignored me, I just exceeded the speed limit to distance myself.

about 2:55 you see a projectile flying off top right of screen. At the beginning, you see the video cut...just after the car cuts off the following truck, which hits the welding truck.....bets are that's a legal issue.

What WAS half that stuff? Suppose it was welding gas tanks.

when I was about 18 I was going to work at the shipyard in belfast and was upstairs on a double decker bus when 2 fire extinguishers fell off a truck in front of the bus. The bus looked as if it was in a snowstorm, scared the bejesus out of me .

It looked like someone was in the white car, wonder why he/she didn't back up in a big hurry? Didn't see them get out. Take an idiot to just set there with a bunch of flying missiles going in every direction. :scared:

Many years ago I worked at a brewery (good job!). We were on two sites. One morning we heard a few helicopters flying around (press choppers). Looked out the window to see a plume of black smoke over the other site. Seems someone trying to win the Darwin awards had been gas welding a broken ladder back onto a diesel storage tank....

Further proof of my declining brain. Until about ten minutes ago, I was wondering for two days, what the heck is a "suppy truck".
