As some may member my daughter majored in Visual Effects in College.
She has been working in Vancouver ,BC where most of those "houses" are located.
She has worked on a few films that have been released but yet to get a name in the credits.
We'll finally she has be working on the new Marvel movie Thor:Ragmorak.
She was the sole artist in her company working on it for a while but eventually trained her boss they hired and then a couple of other artist to assist.
She will get her name in the credits for this one so it looks like my wife and I will be going to it and sitting to the end of the credits so I can cheer and hoot when her name goes quickley by

Here is the trailer

Here is what she sent to us about her scenes

For the Thor trailer I did the city layout for the shots at 0:32, 0:33, 0:34, 0:36, 1:06 and mocap for 0:32, 0:34, 0:35, 0:37, and 1:06.

The big city shot at 0:33 was the bane of my existence and took weeks.

Congrats to you and Mrs. K. How nice it is to see your kids succeed.

Motion Capture
From Google, better than my explanation
is a way to digitally record human movements. The recorded motion capture data is mapped on a digital model in 3D software

The company she used to work for patented it

They released a new trailor for the movie my l'il girls been working on at comic-con

Well done and congrats to Daughter (and this is my daughters dream!) and to parents for believing and supporting! I guess you are an AVENGER of the skeptics (seewhat I did there)
