With the recent visit of William and Kate to Calgary got to thinking...

It was announced that they were going to travel the route of the Calgary Stampede parade today, prior to the start of it... Initially the media speculated that an old reproduction stage coach would be used, but instead apparently they traveled the parade route in a big black sedan with the window open barely a crack... What view did people get really then?

The photographic evidence from a friend, as I was at work all day...

Wow... What a great view... A friend of mine went down just to see the royal couple and was so disappointed just simply left...

How about back in 1973? My dad's photo, notice the difference?

I know that times have changed and we have to be concerned about safety of the British Royalty, but I think there is also a point where you truly do cheat the people, in a manner of speaking... :hammer: There has to be some balance somewhere, how about a car with nice big windows so people can actually see them!

Tell that to Charles and Camilla.
