While sitting in a doctors waiting room and prusing an old issue of Street Rodder Magazine, I came across an add for some stuff called ZoopSeal. It's supposed to protect polished aluminum, brass and stainless from oxidation. Has anyone tried it?
 
Hi Richard, I have never heard of that product.However, if they are suggesting it protects SS from oxidation I am suspect as to the validity of the product.---Keoke
 
I have not used the Zoop seal however it is heavily promoted by Eastwood.com. I have spent a fair amount of money on coatings and tools with eastwood and all of their products exceeded my expectation.

I hate to question anyone named "Yoda", especially after reading their posts over the last few months and learning a great deal from them. However, dispite its name, stainless steel does indeed oxidize. Just ask a boater that made the mistake of rolling up a still wet cover onto a stainless steel support. If water is trapped against SS you will get oxidation. Especially the lower grades such as 310.
