Proper use of British Crimping tool

I get mine from britishwiring.com , same place I bought the crimper. You need to buy the correct part for the application (at least if you're going to crimp, buy crimpable ends.)

And don't put gas in my tractor; it takes diesel.
 
You're probably right. I read something somewhere that called all these connectors "Lucar" connectors, and I just repeated it.

Like so many other facets of this antique car business, I am finding that one could one could write a book on electrical connectors, or at least a chapter in a book.
