I recently changed to a overdrive transmission from a 72 MGB.
The 1040 speedometer that was dead on accurate is now 12 mph off. Which speedometer do I need to find to work with the overdrive? is it a 1450 ???
Thanks

Here's a chart that should help:

My speedo is a 1280 -- this is on a Nov 1970 built car with factory black label overdrive. Of course the speedometer doesn't work, so can't vouch for its accuracy...
