Propeller fell off

Yikes! Talk about constantly looking for "alternates"!! I'd have needed more than a glass of water... like a change of underwear!

Who needs a stinking prop? :rolleye:

Geez, Elliot. You and your silly unpower'd pseudo-airplanes! :smirk:

Like I say.... I might crash but I won't burn. :excitement:

Any landing you walk away from...

Nial, has that ever happened to you?

Been watching this thread. When a propeller falls off, there is only one person to blame! That's what pre flight inspections are for. He's no hero in my book, he could have gotten someone else killed buy his stupid mistake and almost did! Great pilot for landing a kite? That old Aeronca C-3 could glide for quite a ways at 30 mph. Don't make a hero out of an idiot! With 60 years of flying with no accidents, I do not apologize for that statement.PJ

Don't blame the pilot until you know all the fax! All the preflight you can do may not show you the cracked bolt, crankshaft or in the prop that could cause this. And shaking the prop on preflight may or may not show this.

Agree!

Until crystal balls are 'standard issue' the only info available is what is reported. An investigation will yield better info, maybe even what caused the prop to leave a perfectly good aircraft.
