Propane Morgans

Greetings,

I have owned an MG and two Austin Healeys. I am currently british-car-less and I am considering marques I have not owned--one being Morgan. Although I am interested in late 50s and 60 cars, occasionally, I see an 80s era propane powered car. I know the history of why they are propane but I am curious about the drivability. How many miles can one go on a "tank" for instance. Are they as powerful as gas powered?

Some basic info here, including conversion:

Looks like you need a bigger tank for the propane, if you want to get the same number of miles as a standard tank gasoline.

You may consider me foolish, but I have not met too many cars, driving on propane. Maybe I am too young or a technical idiot, I don't know. But I really wish I could help. So the only place I know could be a honda car dealers who you can contact directly and ask about any desired model and the fuel for that.

They are very drivable, most of the ones I am familiar with were either pickups or full sized trucks that had large tanks. I am not sure what the range a Morgan would have with the tank that would fit in its frame. An engine running on propane produces around 60%-70% of the HP that an engine running on gasoline does. It does however, run much cleaner and the engine will last for many more miles.
