Clausager's book about the Sprite and Midget includes a similarly colored car (I do not think it's the same one). The photos on Craigslist look a bit over-exposed-it should be a bit darker, but everything in those photos looks too light.
We had a lady that brought her pink Midget into the shop I worked at. The shuyster she bought it from sold her on it by painting it pink (rather poorly I might add) and it was abused. We did a lot of major work to that little bomb. And I always got stuck folding myself into it to test drive it. Imagine that sight. a 6'1" greasy mechanic wadded into a hot pink midget boppin up and down the side streets. more than once I wound up pushing it too.
I hated that car.
