The only thing slowing us down has been the recent heat wave. It has been brutal. Very uncomfortable combination of temp. and humidity, with heat index hovering between 106 - 108.

But making a little progress. :wall:

Looks good, Frank! Don't let the heat get to ya.

That looks great Frank. Nice work on the dash.

During my resto, I finally got fed up with the heat and put a window A/C unit in the garage. It's not really big enough, but it does drop the temps enough during the hottest times to at least make it so I can work without being too uncomfortable. In the fall, I'm gonna insulate. That should help out considerably, both in the summer and the winter. Yes, I also have a heater in the garage!

Looking great Frank! Love the dash.

Thanks for the update and the pics, Dick

Looking very awesome. I really like the color. BTW - out of interest where did you buy the dash upholstry items?

Beautiful Frank. Take more pics please! I need as many reference shots as I can get! I've waffled on going back to the original color on my car, but you have me convinced, it looks great.

Thanks guys - should be a productive week ahead - working "night shift" to avoid the heat.

Luke, all of the trim including materials for the seats, leather and vynide came from PJM Motors a family run auto trimming company in Shropshire, UK. I met the owner in the early nineties when I lived in England. Yvonne and her team do beautiful work!

Howdy Frank,

I just wanted to add my $.02 & say Your TR does look excellent. What color is the body, Old English White or more of an Ivory? I`m having mine painted an "Ivory / Beige" BMW color with a "Dk. Burgundy Int".

Keep the Faith in the Heat of Things!

Russ: Fluorescent lighting is really bad for color rendition, but this is actually Silverstone Grey with red interior.
This next photo was taken outside last summer, and the grey is more dominant, IMO. BTW, Ivory was on our short list, but eventually we decided to paint the car as original.
