Project Update

Since I've been all talk and no pix, I thought I'd post a couple of pictures of the MGB - "before and in process". The latter picture is from several months ago, and since then I've built and installed the engine, run the brake, clutch, and fuel lines, installed new gas tank, installed the windshield, etc. Hopefully, this weekend I'll get the dash in and begin putting the carpet down. Then it's time to finish the front end and brake work, and the details.

Re: Project Update

Thanks, John. Yep, that it is. The interior is biscuit, and top is tan canvas. As close to LSU colors as I dare go!

Re: Project Update

Good luck Mickey!

In the first pic you've posted, has it been sprayed?
Kinda looks like a dark purple... really nice looking colour!

Re: Project Update

that's gonna be cool. It'd look really neat with 60 spoke wires.

Re: Project Update

Thanks, all.

The color is Black Tulip - a dark purple color that was offered in '73, the year of the car. I was going to go with Minilite replicas, but we're over budget, so we'll keep the Rostyles for now (after repainting them).

Re: Project Update

Thanks Mickey

You've inspired to get back out to the garage and resume my project.
