Project up-date

I have finally finished welding in the passenger side floor panel (I did the drivers side about 2 months ago). The attached photo shows how difficult it is to get to the front of the floor when the body bracing is still in place. On the next project car, I will put some more thought into items the body braces and interior access. I can’t wait to get those braces out of the way.

Now back to the frame mods.

Re: Project up-date

It's a good thing you ain't jumbo sized!!
That's some wicked looking steel bracing.

Re: Project up-date

6'4" – 250 is pushing jumbo size in my book. About 10 min before my wife snapped that photo, I had my head down by the fire wall and my feet sticking out the trunk.

Bracing was to keep the body alignment some what close while I had both floors and inner sills out. At that pint the car tub is basically in two halves.
