Project up-date

I had my TR4 donor frame, for my TR3 project, sand blasted this week. Attached are photos. Baby steps...

Homemade TR3 Beta Huh? Pretty cool. Should handle good.
Are you widening the fenders like they did for the Original "Beta" or are you adding the width in the middle?

I needed a new frame and I came across a later TR4 frame at the right price. I wanted to convert the TR3 to a rack anyways so when I found this frame I figured why not go for the wide track as well.

I am leaning towards the revised fenders since I had already welded in the new driver’s side floor board when I found the donor frame, but I have to admit, I have found myself thinking a TR3 sure is narrow.
