That trip to England wasn't just for seeing what other people have done (which in itself is incredible), but also to help continue working on my own car.

I picked up on a couple small items. Maybe you can tell by this photo.

I carried this thing back on the roof of my Opel Astra 600 km.

I also picked up a 12G940 casting head from a 1275 Cooper S (stamped 12G-1805 behind the thermostat housing)

Looks like a lovely bonnet to me.

I seriously considered a Sprinzel bonnet (Williams & Pritchard) (the "Sebring Sprite" had standard bodywork)

Only thing is that I didn't really want a non-removable hardtop. Then I didn't want to go with the Sprinzel bonnet and standard hardtop. (though PMO200 is shown in that configuration at one point the "Spritely Years" book) Furthermore, I've had this car since 1973 and I didn't really want to change it much, not even right hand drive.

This bonnet cost ÂŁ290 and I picked up on a complete green carpet set for half price.

The B-post repair panels were a spur-of-the-moment dicision. Normally I make that kind of stuff.

I do have a line on a really BAD condition Frogeye that might be a good candidate for a Sprinzel.
