Boy do I feel like a dumbey. Those little clips that go under the door seals make all the difference.

Wonder how they excaped my attention in the past.

Thanks for the test ones and I now have more on order from Tony.

hehehe...I only ordered the 10 you asked me for....(Is this one of those "told you so" moments or will there be more coming from Jack than I want to expose?)

No, don't think so. I have one side done, so only one side left.

You learn the way I do Jack. I just got my door interior panels on except for one lousy screw that I cannot find that holds the door pull on. Spent the last couple hours looking for it. Many little things still to go and many screw ups along the way. Hard to stay enthused.

Oh no Kim. Easy to stay enthused. Now it is mainly the little things to improve her. They don't take long and are fun jobs.

Last night wife had a dream that I sold her so I could do something else but she did not say what.

Whoo Hooo. That came out intresting.

What car is next on the list? It has to be another spridget so we can watch the progress.

Barry - can you post a larger picture of your enging than the one that's your avatar?

Yeah, I will have to take a recent picture. That one is from last spring. I changed my avatar to a picture of the front of the car.

Still have lots to clean-up/dress-up, but that will come with time. I figure getting her on the road and playing while I do it will be a lot more fun!

SWEET!! Now, how about one from the distributor side?

Reason I'm asking is my engine comes out of the machine shop soon & I need to think 'paint'...Hap & I both agree we think its best to paint each piece separately but I want to see your bolt treatment.

OOOhhh, I was hoping you didn't want that side. Truly embarrassing right now. With all those wires running and not cleaned up! And filthy too!

But it answered my question....

Should the generator also be green?

& is that heater blower the orginal color?

If you want it correct, then just put the engine together (except for the soft bits and the intake/exhaust) and spray it all.

I certainly didn't go for original with this car. I mainly went for theme. Does that make sense?

The blower is the original color.

The generator was painted by the people that rebuilt it.

I LOVE the brg on these motors and painting separate. I agree with Hap--the bolts help break it up and really stand out. I mean, with spending that much on bolts alone, might as well.

Exactly what we were saying.

Aye generator should be green.

They also look very nice with yellow spark plug wires. OHHHH.
