Only prob is with new foam I will be pleased to get a smaller wheel. No prob it will just be better.

I seem to have this problem with new parts. They can not set around long. So as a result I keep running out, lol.

On my late model Midget seat, I cut some foam from the underside because it made me sit too high. I saved the bit I removed in case I need to add it back for extra support later. That was 4+ years ago, and things still haven't settled.

Yep, you need a new wooden Tourist Trophy steering wheel that's 1" smaller than your stock one....remind wife & g-daughter that they can give you a "theAutoist" gift certificate for special occassions....hehehehehe (selfish plug)

I'm excited to get my smaller wheel as well, though it's still on order. Custom work takes a while (been a year-ish so far), but i think it will be well worth the wait.

Cheers for the offer, but it would probably cost more than they are worth to ship them! Was going to send my sis a box of Prawn Cocktail crisps recently to help her with her pregnacy cravings: they wanted about $80 to send them, and they only weighed about 5lbs!!
Gonna check a few places out over here, see if I can't find a spare seat somewhere. If it comes to it, AH Spares sells them new.

Funny you mention that... I just saw some of those at a British store down the street from my house... Tempted to buy some just to see what they are like...

The red with white looks great in Ms Agatha, I will be doing mine in red to return it to its' original spec. I'm sure I read on the old Heritage certificate that the original interior on mine was actually red with black piping, although I haven't seen any of the main suppliers offering this colour combination. I lost the certifcate some years ago, so will re-order it (I wonder if they have a BOGOF offer so I can get the one for my potential buy at the same time...), although if it is black piping I think a custom interior will cost too much for the time being.
Looking at the pics of Ms Agatha and imagining the body in black, the white piping gives it a nice kick, so I don't think I'll be losing out either way! Good job Jack!

There never was any black pipeing. Only white or none.

That'll be why no supplier offers them then... Suits me though, saves me a few quid when it comes time to order the interior! Did you find the seat bases were hard to put on with a new seat foam? I've heard they need a bit of working to get into place.

Seat bases are easy, just plunk em in and bolt. I you mean the cushons, no problem at all.
