My body man and painter called this morning.

This is the week folks.

Four coats of color. Wet sand and six coats of clear.

I should be on the road home Thursday. If you see a white Bugeye chaseing a blue pickup stop me.

Now if I can just figure out how to last till Wed when I start out for Tonys. He says he has a B I can set in and maybe even drive around the block. Nothing like a bit of excitement in ones life. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif

That's big news, Jack. You've lasted this long, you can make it until Wednesday. You can spend the time cleaning up the garage and getting all your parts ready. I sense a flurry of "Progress" postings over the next few months! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I still bet Jack falls silent, then in a few months we see a "Beep, Beep, Bugeye coming through" post.

Reasembly goes very slow. At least it has for me so far. But every step is enjoyable to me. It isnt so much about the destination, it's the journey. I'm sure we all feel that way though or we wouldn't do what we do.

I for one really hope that Jack continues his frequent 'progres' posts as they are a great source of motivation for me. I have found over the years with most of my hobbies that I find a connection with people online and we all share similar passions.

Reasembly goes very slow. Yep, life intrudes. The 25 is promised to the ladies garage sale. and the 30th for a week or so in Atlanta at daughters.

Then comes thanks giving and Christmas and cold January.

Not to mention maybe as much as 4K worth of parts.

yeah, but you get to do it all with clean gloves (for the most part) ... i can't wait for that time!

Jack:

Great news. One questions, how are you getting Agatha home?

Patrick

Miss Agatha will go on the same little trailer she went up on. Will be resting on pool noodles and bonnet will be padded with bed pads between it and the body. Doors will ride wrapped in the cab with me and wheels wraped in the truck bed. All straped down well with ratchet straps crossed front and rear with another over the bonnet with more padding.

Scary? Why is that. It does not weigh anything. Came from Texas home that way then from here to Tonys the same way.

Jack:

Did you know that two 2x8's can hold a complete BE and me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

Don't ask how I know, had an adventurious weekend. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
