Just back from Tonys. Droped car off at the blaster yesterday and told the guy no rush. We will see what we see. Going to get a price for body work and paint soon as the blasting is complete. We will see.

Got a tour of the place, man has he got cars stuffed in there. No sprite stuff though but he has the world cornered on B parts.

Oh yea picked up parts to reassemble engine. Forgot pressure plate and disk. Oh well next time, no rush there.

Nice dinner with Tony and wife. How she puts up with all the car talk I'll never know. That north Alabama is beautiful country side and the weather was perfect.

Sounds great Jack,

also don't forget a new input shaft pilot bushing.

OMG Bushing, spigot. I did forget that. Thanks indeed for the catch, not even an old one in that crank.

Well guess I will find out what else I forgot when I go to put things together.

Jack - great visit! Doctor's appointment today was interesting...enlarged prostate so they're doing tests to see what's what...also scheduled me for a colonoscopy (however you spell it)....& are testing for diabetes (again, spelling probably)...heck, guess I'm just falling apart now that I've hit 60!

Tony, I think you spelled it right. Plus, it's good to get a check-up (or tune-up?) now and again!

Happens to all of us. Glad they caught it early, most of that stuff is fixable early on.

Yep, great visit. Looking forward to spending a bit more time with you guys next trip.

Jack

Well, I go back Thursday morninig for the results of the first tests & for some more tests....colonoscopy is mid-May.

We'll see; it was probably the best physical I've had since me retirement physical from the Army - & my doctor is a "She"!

A Doctor is a doctor, colonoscopy is no big deal just all that junk you have to drink first, hate that.

Have had two done, never found anything, last year they told me to come back in 15 years. I told the Doc that I sure wanted to but would let him know. Hehe.
