Carb jet tubes came, leaks but is slowing down as the new cork gaskets swell, we will see.

Ran it up the road and back. Boy have I got some work on tuneing, tomorrow maybe after these new seals swell up.

Fuel guage came as well, installed and works fine. Thanks Mike. Put my glass and rim on it and wife said it looks like a new one.

Have passanger side carpet in from the rear of the tunnel forward, including snaps. More tomorrow.

Think I have finished for today, just about had all I can take.

I think the hard thing is going to be the last on the list.

With all the problems I have had with the carbs my confidence is about shot.

Take a good deep breath, have a brew, sit back and survey the good works of this day ;)... tomorrow is a new begining!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

You'll get there, Jack. Wish I had words of support, but I'm lost myself with carb work.

Jack,

The struts will not be that big of a problem. Use a couple of 2x2's for support. Besides it will be the last on the very productive list.

Looks like the front carb as stoped leaking, guess the new corks swelled enough to shut it off. Rear still has a problem, we will see.

If this does not stop it I am going to change out the carb body.

Remember Jack that this is a journey that we are all taking and we all have the goal of having a nice looking, good running and reliable car at the end (wait-- these are British cars!!, can the above be attainable??). The set-backs are all part of the journey and they set this journey apart from just going out and buying a Miata. We are all behind you (in many ways more than one for some of us!!) and are all sharing in your pain. Just keep a stiff upper lip and you will overcome all obsticles. This is to be enjoyed-- DO IT!!
