Need to tap four hinge mount holes and hang a door tomorrow.

Install Battery.

That's it folks, out of parts till after the first of the year some time. I mean I have nothing to do till the vinyl for the dash arrives. Everything on that I have, tested and working as advertised, no leaks.

Well I am still looking for an oil pump or a tube of cornhead greese if I get way up in alabama to the dealer that carries it. He will not post, says it is dangerous, sigh. If he only knew. One lousy tube.

Hay Tom Odum, any cornhead greese up your way at the John Deer dealer, by the tube for a greese gun? The dealer in Crestview says he has no call for it and wants me to get a case, weeee.

FYI, JD part # is AN102562

I will be visiting my local JD dealer tomorrow and will check to see if they carry it.

Haha, compatable. Cool.

Thanks Paul, I would of course bear all expenses. This is for the rack, it pumps like oil and is like oil at higher temps but is like greese at room temp and such.

I was told it was designed for cotten and corn pickers. Or that's where it is used anyway.

Jack,

IAW a web page on it, it is "Formulated for John Deere corn head and other slow-speed gear cases"

Also it is "Green color" BRG maybe?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Naa, color is so you can tell where the leaks come from.

Jack,

Got a tube in hand with your name on it!

I have emailed you to the address in your profile.

Thank you Paul, emailed back.

Jack--what battery did you end up buying? Group number & Manufacturer/model.

I ended up with the Marathon battery, Group 24 from my local Kragen...but may change it...

Well shucks, gona do that tomorrow, liked the one from my truck so going to go with another of those. Ranger kind.

Jack,

Green and the nastiest smelling grease that I have smelled lately is on it's way to you via USPS Priority Mail (so that you would have some GREEN GREASE for Xmas! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif

Have a Merry and a Happy!

Ohh, green, cool. Good stuff for the season.

If it smells too nasty maybe Miss Agatha will give me a bad time?

Thank you very much Paul.

BTW, I put the tube in a 1 gal. plastic ziplock bag and then put it into a large garbage bag. Hopefully it will not be treated too rough in it's journey but it shouldn't get out of both bags (famous last words!) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
