Progress on the Whitephrog

The Whitephrog was delivered to the stripper this afternoon. After stripping she will be primed on the underside and engine bay with epoxy primer and the bonnet and exterior panels with polyester primer. I'll pick her up on the 28th then it's off for some minor body work then a fresh few coats of OEW.

Are you assuming no rust repair?

Car is all but rust free. Floor, wheel wells and rockers are all in good shape. Not even rust in the battery box. A little rust a repair where the muffler was improperly mounted. A few repairs of some poorly done previous bondo/fiberglas patch repairs. We are going to primer the car before the minor body work.

Are you having it chemically stripped or media blasted?

Plastic beads and an air compressor with more horspower than the car. Never thought of that like that before. Kinda scarry.
